It’s been a little while since I’ve done a Product Pop-Up. This certainly is not because I don’t have anything to share – I’ve just been so busy lately! This product is one of my absolute favorite things. If I were Oprah – I would pass this out to everyone I know in her lovely – “Thanks for being my friend” baskets. This week my Product Pop-Up is PBFit. If you haven’t heard of this product – please keep reading and get on board ASAP.
PBFit is powdered peanut butter. Powdered Peanut Butter?? I know, I was skeptical too. I mean – seriously, ain’t nothing like the real thing, baby… BUT, this powdered peanut butter product is AMAZING. You can use it in anything – smoothies, baking mixes, or just mix it and eat it. It has significantly less calories, fat, and carbs than real peanut butter. Do not get alarmed – I still eat regular peanut butter – EVERYDAY. However, I have 2 tablespoons of this every night as part of my evening snack. It is yummy and filling and virtually guilt free.
The stats for PBFit are as follows: for 2 tablespoons (1 serving) you’re looking at: 50 calories, 4 grams of carbs, and 6 grams of protein. Compared to my regular peanut butter – which currently I’m living for Teddie’s All Natural Smooth – a serving is going to cost you much more. Two tablespoons – 190 calories, 16 grams of fat, 7 grams carbs, and 8 grams of protein. For me – peanut butter is everything. I do not care about these calories, fat, carbs or protein. What I mean is that peanut butter – natural peanut butter – is a real food. It is a staple of my diet and as long as it’s the real stuff I will fit it in daily. That being said – I can fit in the PBFit easily at the end of the day!!
I have mixed it up in my smoothies before and it adds an awesome peanut buttery taste. Again, this is not regular peanut butter – so it isn’t going to be exactly the same but it is a really good substitute. If you’re looking for a way to eat peanut butter and have it fit into your lifestyle – this product is the answer. I have tried several kinds of powdered peanut butter and I keep coming back to PBFit. I like both the regular and chocolate flavors. I am MOST excited that my local Hannaford – right here in Machias, Maine, sells it. I almost passed out when I saw it in our peanut butter aisle – but I am so grateful that we have it. My Mom buys the supper big containers of it at Costco and sends those to me – which I appreciate SO SO SO much! Like I said – I eat this every day…so I go through a lot of it!!
I would highly suggest trying PBFit out and hope that you enjoy it as much as I do. When I’m feeling like I really need a treat – I put a couple of high quality chocolate chips and some dried cranberries in it…it’s so good!! PBFit is also good spread on one of my protein cookies…delish!!
